Agent M13: Repository Trait Method Usage Analysis

Mission: Identify which BacktestingRepositories trait methods are actually used and recommend simplifications.

Analysis Date: 2025-10-18
Codebase: Foxhunt HFT Trading System
Focus: services/backtesting_service


Executive Summary

The BacktestingRepositories trait defines 10 methods across 3 sub-traits. Analysis reveals:

  • 5 CORE PRODUCTION METHODS actively used in real code paths

Current issue: Status updates done in-memory (BacktestingServiceImpl.active_backtests)
